See you there x /// Ben Buchanan (he/him) is a composer and cellist based in Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar (Perth). He is passionate about collaborating with like-minded artists through both improvised and exploratory music, as well as creating solo lo-fi freak folk projects. His compositions are texturally driven, pop-inspired and characterised by their eccentricity and whimsy.

For this one-night-only event, independent labels Tone List and Rockton Records join forces to bring US journalist Liz Pelly into conversation with local musician and educator Michael Terren. Drawing from complementary areas of research, the two will discuss how contemporary culture is being shaped by digital tools for creative production and consumption, such as Spotify and Ableton.
