Ross Bolleter & Eduardo Cossio are among the most prolific experimental musicians in Boorloo. Ross is a composer, poet, and Zen master described by The Wire as “a true original of Australian composition”. For more than four decades he has explored the unique and resonant sounds of Ruined Pianos.

Eduardo is a musician, visual artist, and the organiser of Outcome Unknown. He is known for an idiosyncratic approach to electro-acoustic music using de-tuned zithers, voice, and harmonicas.

The duo began working together in 2022. They have since released Dark Shine (2023), Such & Such (2024) – both on the French label Thödol Records – and Glint (2025). Their co-written article ‘Casting a Net for Synchronicities’ will be published by UnMagazine in September.

💠

Josten Myburgh is a composer, improviser, saxophonist and organiser of experimental music. They are co-director of not-for-profit organisation Tone List, and since 2017 has curated their Art Music Award-winning Audible Edge festival.
