DESCRIPTION:SoundExplorationFremantle coordinates workshops led by respected practitioners of improvised musics.  Participants listen\, explore\, and create\, using an eclectic range of sound-making objects\, musical and other instruments\, and our voices.  SEF workshops suit people with all levels of experience (or none) in music and/or improvisation. \nNaoko Uemoto will present a workshop exploring movement as an extension of expressive rhythm; she’ll guide us through ways of bringing or creating the energy rather than waiting to react to it – and\, we’ll delve into feeling the beat as a social phenomenon\, and ways to incorporate this into an improvised setting. \n  \nSullivan Hall\, Nannine Ave.\, White Gum Valley\, WA\nthe venue is wheel-chair friendly \nentry by donation: $10/15/20\n(all contributions go towards paying the professional musicians who guide our workshops and to rental for the hall) \n  \nsoundexplorationfremantle@gmail.com \nfacebook.com/soundexplorationfremantle
