Sage J Harlow is the author and composer of O,D,E, a "text score opera" premiering at The Blue Room Theatre from 26 August - 6 September. He is passionate about collaborating with like-minded artists through both improvised and exploratory music, as well as creating solo lo-fi freak folk projects. For this one-night-only event, independent labels Tone List and Rockton Records join forces to bring US journalist Liz Pelly into conversation with local musician and educator Michael Terren. Drawing from complementary areas of research, the two will discuss how contemporary culture is being shaped by digital tools for creative production and consumption, such as Spotify and Ableton.
