Outcome Unknown 7 Year Anniversary – night #2

The Outcome Unknown 7-Year Anniversary celebrates the diverse voices within Boorloo's experimental music community. On August 22, we team up with NoizeMaschin!! for a night of new projects and first-time collaborations. August 23 offers a program of delicate music for acoustic and electronic instruments. In partnership with ALT, August 24 features VJs responding to the work of iconoclastic music-makers. And on August 25 join us for a night of deep listening and experimental electronica. Land’s Air Jane Stark Storytime Accessibility: This event is held upstairs at PS Art Space. The upstairs area of the venue is not accessible via wheelchair.

Smalley at Large Festival: Symposium

University of Western Australia 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley, WA

Marking the 80th and 100th anniversary of Roger Smalley AM and György Ligeti respectively, this 2-day symposium features key-note addresses by Professor Amy Bauer (USA) and Dr Chris Mark (UK) as Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Scholars. Other speakers include: Dr Adam Pinto (UWA), Dr Paul Tanner (UWA), Dr Stuart James (WAAPA), Dr Federico Favali (Italy).

Outcome Unknown 7 Year Anniversary – Ross Bolleter & Eduardo Cossio

The final event of the 7 Year Anniversary will feature a performance by Ross Bolleter & Eduardo Cossio on ruined pianos and zithers respectively; a photobook launch by Antoinette Carrier; and a solo saxophone set by Naoko Uemoto. The UWA New Music Collective led by Adam Pinto, Paul Tanner & Chris Tonkin will be joined by Cara Daly, Carissa Soares and Declan Ryan in Ceremony I for percussion quartet, Music for an Imaginary Ballet, and Transformation for piano and electronics. This is a free event. The Callaway Auditorium is a wheelchair accessible venue. An accessible bathroom is located immediately outside the venue.
