DESCRIPTION:For a laaaast minute summer silly season soiree ONO Records and MOVE team up to present Vancouver dance music legend PILGRIMS OF THE MIND! \nAfter a 25 year hiatus from touring\, Pilgrims of the Mind has made their maiden voyage to Australian shores performing live at Un:send festival and Miscellania in Naarm this summer so far. A downright seminal figure in the 90’s and early 2000’s Vancouver scene\, producer Stephane Novak released a string of stone-cold classic records showcasing his utterly unique and forward thinking psychedelic house\, tripped-out downtempo and shimmering ambient productions. From his early house and bleepy techno excursions on labels Outersanctum\, Interchill and Map Music (The track ‘Who. Is. That.’ being an ONO favourite) to dropping two classic LP’s on Map Music\, ‘Welcome to the Lotus Land’ & ‘What’s Your Shrine? ‘ defining the Pilgrims of the Mind sound.
