SUMMARY:Sound Exploration Fremantle - Anna Noguchi (JPN) & Kelsey Diamond
DESCRIPTION:For this workshop we are thinking a lot about water\, the sound and the shapes and the changing seasons\, liquidity and mess. We would like to offer a slow workshop\, starting with a period of stillness and listening\, moving into body energy and playing with water instruments that were made during our ceramics residency in Lesmurdie\, while spending time at Jerrabinyan (Lesmurdie falls).\nThis workshop will include some opt-in-or-out yin yoga. We will have comfortable floor or chair options for you\, inside an installation of soft\, sculptural mess. Our beautiful friend Yoko Kaga will feed you all (vg\, gf) .\nAnna + Kelsey are multidisciplinary artists\, working with clay\, textile scrap\, sounds\, bits of phone video\, movement\, gardening \, misc . we connect over our love of pleasant trash and tiny beautiful sights.\nThis workshop hopes to leave you sparkly\, slower\, and a little bit wet.www.AnnaNoguchi.cominstagram.com/@kelseyrere\nWhere: Sullivan Hall\, 2 Nannine Ave.\, White Gum Valley\, WA\nWhen: 22 September\, from 2 – 4.30pm$10-15-20\n\nAccessibility Information:\nThe Sullivan Hall is a wheelchair accessible venue\, accessible via the footpath on inclined but smooth terrain. The music may be loud at times. It will be well-lit with natural light. There are two accessible all-gender bathrooms located outside the venue\, connected via a footpath. The event is alcohol-free and all-ages. The venue is spacious and windows and doors can be kept open throughout the workshop for ventilation.
