Her writing has been published by Fremantle Press\, Westerly\, Ginninderra Press and Meniscus. As a musician Mel has been a part of acts Bizness\, Salary\, the Whistling Dogs\, Dear Hella\, as well as songwriting under her own name. \n \nMute Care Unit \n \nMute Care Unit brings quiet and sparse fragments of sound to the forefront\, amplified by the muted atmosphere they move through. The project is composed of silence as much as sound to create a detailed story in pockets of space. These microsounds speak through contact and pedal chains to create deconstructed meditations of lowercase concrète. \n \nJessica Carlton & Sarah Ramsey \n \nSharing an appreciation for the soft and gentle moments in music\, Jessica Carlton (trumpet) and Sarah Ramsey (voice) draw on the work of Elena Duni\, Jakob Bro and Maro. They present an improvisation based on compositions they wrote whilst enduring challenging experiences in the music scene. \n \nMoses Kington-Walberg & Claire Orman \n \nClaire is a percussionist focused on free-improvisation and the sonic exploration of metal instruments and objects. Trained as a composer\, Moses’ work spans a range of methodologies and artistic formats. His trombone playing reflects a multi-instrumental background\, channelling insights from a range of wind-instrument disciplines. Claire and Moses have often performed together as members of the Resonant Fields ensemble.
