DESCRIPTION:Experience a site-specific audio-visual installation by Cassandra Tytler & E Millar\, and a worm workshop with Peg Davies at the Inglewood Mount Lawley Community Garden. \n5-6pm : Worm Workshop with Peg Davies (RSVP required via website link below) \n6-8pm : Audio-visual installation by Cassandra Tytler and E Millar & Refreshments \nAll welcome! \nFREE EVENT \n‘Think like a Worm’ is all about soil. Soils are fascinating and diverse ecosystems that support multitudes of life forms\, and many interconnected processes of growth and decay. Often we forget what is under our feet\, and how important soil is to sustaining life on Earth. \n‘Think like a Worm’ is an opportunity to think more about soil\, within the garden in the context of growing food\, but also beyond that. This event is a form of community collaboration that amplifies stories around the local spaces of the City of Stirling. The audio-visual work will be shown in the garden as projections with sound and light installed in several locations. \nAccessibility info\nThe audio-visual work will be installed along the garden pathways\, which are wheelchair accessible. Public washrooms are unfortunately not available. The installation will include projections\, lights (no strobe) and quiet audio. \nThis event is located within Mooro Nyoongar Boodja – Mooro people’s land – part of the greater Wadjak Nyoongar area. We acknowledge the Wadjak people of the Noongar nation as the traditional custodians of the land\, skies and waters.
