SUMMARY:Graphic Scores in Exploratory Music Workshop Part 2
DESCRIPTION:Join composer and sound artist Elizabeth Millar to explore a variety of historical graphic scores and alternative forms of musical notation including images\, video and text. Discussion will be interspersed with group playing. In the second workshop we will explore further examples and workshop graphic scores proposed by group members. \nThese sessions are open to people from all backgrounds and levels of experience. Participants should come ready and willing to experiment with sound and music in a group setting. Sound objects and materials will be available. Musical instruments welcome. \nMaximum capacity of the workshop is 15 people. Bookings are essential. \nVenue on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair accessible bathrooms.  \nMWRecs acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation as the traditional custodians of where we work.
