Decibel & Tura invites you to celebrate the release of Speechless — Cat Hope’s powerful 2019 opera, performed with Decibel and produced by Tura as part of Perth Festival in 2019 — and now released internationally by Swiss label, Hat Hut.
This Listening Session is curated by Decibel members Cat Hope, Tristen Parr, Aaron Wyatt, Stuart James and Lindsay Vickery who will be present at the celebration across the afternoon, ensemble members will take turns selecting tracks, including music from Speechless and other Decibel albums.
The event also features a live interview with composer and Decibel Artistic Director Cat Hope.
A limited number of copies of Speechless will be available on the day for $20, alongside other Decibel releases. Bundle discounts available — limited copies only. Come and spend time with ensemble members after their Inland Lake concert at The Rechabite on Thursday 6 November.
Free entry by registration. Inland Lake ticket holders receive a free drink on entry.
