An amazing showcase of new works for acoustic and electronic instruments from the next generation of composers and composer/performers. WAAPA is home to one of the largest Composition and Music Technology programs in Australia, providing exceptional training for composers and sound artists in concert and experimental music, electronica, popular, jazz, film and stage music. Tonight hear the incredible variety of student work including music for chamber ensembles, hearNOW Art Orchestra, film soundtracks, interactive music and video, and other creative projects.
