Back on April 20th, legendary free-improvising drummer @shojihano graced Goolugatup’s courtyard and delivered one of the most captivating, embodied and unforgettable performances we’ve had the pleasure of hosting to date. It felt like lightning in a bottle – and a pretty special impression of that lightning was captured in high fidelity by our cherished sound engineer @chris.topher.wright. Opting now to celebrate the recording with an official release, Shoji Hano teams up with @tone.list to deliver a CD LP titled simply ‘Solo.’ Join us for a first listen next Wednesday, Dec 18, in cool surrounds at Goolugatup – entry is free from 6pm.
